Q: How do I know if I need an Ignition Interlock?
A: If you have an alcohol-related charge in Kansas, paperwork will be mailed to you from Kansas Driver Control regarding your ignition interlock requirement. Additionally, you can check your driver’s license status and obtain copies of all paperwork they have mailed to you at www.kdor.ks.gov or by calling 785-296-3671.
If your requirement is from a state other than Kansas you can contact that governing authority to obtain requirements.
Q: Is Speedy Ignition Interlock State Approved?
A: Yes. We are an approved service center for the state of Kansas. All of our employees are certified Ignition Interlock Technicians.
Q: Is your device simple to use?
A: Yes. Our unit requires a 3-5 second blow.
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: Yes, we schedule appointments in order to provide speedy service to all of our clients. You can call 913.780.2246 or text 913.220.4091
Q: How long do appointments last?
A: Monthly calibration appointments will take approximately 15 minutes. Installation appointments will
take 1-3 hours depending on the vehicle.
Q: What do I need, what can I expect at the installation appointment?
A: We will collect some personal information, most important your Kansas drivers license number, and payment. We accept cash, check, money order, Venmo, Cash App, and Apple Pay. We will go over how to use the interlock, answer any questions. We will report the installation directly to the state and provide copy directly to you.
